Merissa was hooked to India from the time she first came to the country at a young age of 9 with her parents. After that, she kept visiting India every alternate year and with each trip to a different part of the country, her love for the country continued increasing. Varanasi, Madurai, Agra, Cochin, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati had their own charm and dimension, which she was soaking up till she met Arun in France, the country of her origin.
It was the love for India that also led her to fall in love for an Indian. After 5 years of a worldwide love affair, Arun and Merissa decided to get married in Mumbai and they wanted their mandap to highlight the various colours of India that Merissa had witnessed over the years. Today, it seemed as if life had come full circle for Merissa.
